Hello, I have used the services of "Traventuria" several times over the past few years and I am very happy with everything - the staff is super helpful and always acts quickly and accurately, the equipment is great and of high quality. The negative reviews I have seen in the last few days are not objective and are most likely attempts by the competition to discredit them ... To make sure, go to them and you will see that everything is OK there 🙂

Great ski rental! The equipment is new and in perfect condition. The staff were very attentive — they helped choose the right gear, adjusted everything quickly, and gave useful advice. I decided to try Traventuria because the service at another shop had become worse compared to last year, and it was the right choice. I highly recommend it and will definitely use their services again next year! 🎿

Had the most unpleasant experience with these guys. I left the store feeling very uncomfortable. Overall lack of reliability and worn-out equipment, even though I paid for 'Premium.' One of the salesmen was very sneaky. There are plenty of other shops around that would appreciate your business much more

I wouldn't recommend this company based on their reliability. I had some reservations initially but decided to go through with it for a friend's sake. Unfortunately, appearances were deceiving. The reliability is lacking, and the equipment is quite outdated. It feels like the focus is more on profit margins than on maintaining the gear.

Really disappointing. You pay for high-end gear only to receive something heavily used, and the service is very argumentative. There are plenty of other shops in the area with a much nicer atmosphere.

I recommend to book with traventuria! We booked premium package which included equipment hire, lift passes and both transfers and all went smoothly with good communication from the company. The transfer bus driver and staff were lovely and very efficient. We would book with them again.

Don’t let the 4.8 score mislead you like it did me. They are experts at the 'sales' phase—super nice and responsive until they have your commitment/deposit. The moment the actual work begins, it’s a total disconnect. Zero accountability and constant excuses. I’m writing this so no one else makes the same expensive mistake I did. Truly regret choosing them

blatant dishonesty, their 'customer service' is a joke. Instead of solving the mess THEY created, they respond with sarcasm and insults. It’s clear they have zero liquidity and are desperate to keep every cent, no matter how much they have to lie. Booking here is a huge financial risk. You’ve been warned: they are bullies with your credit card details. Avoid like the plague.

EDIT/UPDATE: Don't let the owner's polite response fool you. They ADMITTED they canceled my booking by mistake ("misinterpreted"), yet they still refuse to refund my money for their own error. Instead, they "re-activated" a booking I no longer trust, forcing me to use a service after they already ghosted me. They are trying to hide behind "cancellation policies" to cover up their own professional incompetence. This isn't an insurance issue—it's a basic integrity issue. They made the mistake, and I'm the one paying for it. Stay away!

Extremely unprofessional and dishonest. This company cancelled my reservation without my consent based on false information. They refuse to issue a refund and have stopped responding to messages. It’s simple: they take your money, cancel your service for no reason, and then disappear. Save yourself the headache and the money—book with anyone else but them. Professional scammers at best.

Maybe I didn’t shop around enough but I believe they have the best prices in Bansko. We booked online in advance. Everything went smooth. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location is very close to the gondola. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing week in Bansko! The rental shop was fantastic — super friendly staff, really helpful, and the equipment was top quality. The boards were in great condition and the prices were very, very reasonable. Honestly couldn’t fault it. Would definitely recommend to anyone heading out there

Took their transfer from Bansko to Sofia. Zero leg room. Not comfortable. Less than the cheapest budget airline. Seat belts were stiff and hard to use, not good for the safety conscious.

Seat trays leant forward and unusable for drinks etc.

The mini bus was cold to start with, although it did warm up over time.

Lastly one of the windows was blacked out with tape, so enjoying the views was out of the question.

I was not expecting luxury at 25 euros, but I expected a little better than this. I've taken the 11 euros national service provider, although tatty has loads of leg room!

Stayed in Bansko for a week and rented ski equipment from Traventuria!
Staff is really nice, service is good, equipment in good quality (we took the premium).
I think the biggest advantage is they open early (6:30 AM) which is really convenient if you want to wait for the gondola.

This is the second time I’ve used Traventuria for board hire, and I won’t be using anyone else if I return again!

Booking advance online means a very good price. Their service is very slick. Both times I’ve not needed to queue. The assistants have been very helpful. Not that I’ve experienced any issues, but they assured us if there were any problems with the gear to just pop straight back so they can sort.

The Tech that set my board up talked me into using a shorter board than I would normally ride. I was very sceptical but went with his advice and SO glad I did! I have up-skilled more in 3 days than I have in years! Thank you SO SO much!!

Also, I stupidly left my phone in the shop when we picked up our rental gear. The staff endeavoured to get in contact with me and kept it safe until I returned, lovely people!
